How To Take Care Of Your Golf Simulator

If you have an interior golf simulator, then you need to keep it looking and functioning like new. The manufacturer may have the correct strategy for their system, so you should always follow the instructions provided by them. Each commercially available simulation is different from the other, and while the simulators are similar, there are significant differences in how the units handle.

Control dust

Players always want to use clean clubs! If you allow your players to use clubs that are really dirty, all that dirt will be present in and around the simulation. Dirt and dust in the air can be a big problem for your system, especially in a commercial setup. It is recommended that players remove as much dirt as possible before entering the simulation. If you are building a commercial golf center, this is a great opportunity to complete these tasks every day.

Keep the sensor area clean.

All golf simulators use some type of display technology to track and read data. You need to make sure the sensor is clean. Again, each manufacturer offers the best options for cleaning the receptors. However, a simple tip is to avoid leaving trash in the area. Small grass debris can often block or interfere with the sensor unit over time, causing the fountain to shut down. If you have a camera-dependent system, make sure the digital camera path is not affected. Small pebbles can cause incorrect interpretation by the camera gallop simulator. My advice is to vacuum frequently, cleaning all receptors as thoroughly as possible.

Monitor Maintenance

Many golf simulators are susceptible to scratches. This way, the ball will hit the screen and leave a small mark. Keeping your screen clean will help minimize golf ball marks. Call your producer for tips on cleaning your screen. Many screens can be easily wiped with a damp cloth (not just paper towels) to remove dust and dirt. You should consult the manufacturer before using water. Some screens can be damaged by using water. When you clean your screen for the first time in a while, you’ll be surprised at how much dust and dirt you can remove with your own cloth. It is recommended that you buy a standard golf impact screen.

Sticking to these basic ideas will extend the lifespan and longevity of your simulator.
